The Role Of Swear Words In Contemporaryplastic Arts

Contemporary art has becoming more open and free in the process of diversification development,and its works covers all possibilities on content.In this relatively relaxed environment and free developing soil,swear words are used in the field of Contemporary Art.This paper has introduced the study on the phenomenon of current scholars in many areas,and listed phenomenons of some of the artists in contemporary art choosing swear words to create works.Thus,the author thought that it is necessary to take the application of dirty words in contemporary art as a research point in trying to explore.This paper analyzed the internal causes of swear words phenomenon from the point of life,linguistics,history,literature and popular culture,and classified the swear words function in daily life.At the same time it also analyzed the changes in the field of Contemporary Art from the perspective of diversification,secularization and the public aesthetic,and then thought about the function and value of swearing in contemporary art.After picking seven well-known contemporary artists whose works with dirty element were conducted to case analysis,this paper hoped to see the internal relations of text swearing words practiced in Contemporary Art.In addition,mature artists' Art processing method when facing swear words,and their creation motive behind as well as impact on the viewers were explored.The artistic form mainly based on characters provided a visual way for swearing symbols presenting in contemporary art,and the aesthetic trend under influence of popular culture also provided soil for the existence of swear words in Contemporary Art.The application of swearing in works of Art added a unique appeal to the dialogues between works and audience,and conveyed the irreplaceable emotion of swearing at the same time.The main emphasis of swear words we discussed and researched is not simply to carry on the value judgment,but to further analyze the current social mental state and social relations,and to make a deep understanding of human nature,through its application in the works of art as well as the effect in public space.As for swearing,we oppose habits with abusive words,but we should also see their existence objectively,and look squarely at their value and drawbacks.The artist uses swear words to provoke civilized morality and values,but actually it reflected their profound social perception.In these days of humanity liberation,swear words evolved out of more styles,artists should have a sense of social responsibility and moral respect when use dirty words in their works.While the contemporary art creation should not avoid them,studies on the application of swear words in art undoubtedly has developed a method of artistic expression,which enriched the contemporary art creation means.
