The Dramatic Narration Of Documentary

As a kind of observation and expression of people's external environment and internal world,documentary can record the events or characters in life well.In order to ensure the authenticity of documentary conditions.We need to use the story narrative way to tell a good story in a better way,so that the film can be more profound to accurately express the creator intention,and attract the audience in a better approach.Narratology was first proposed in work "The Decameron" of a Frenchman Todorov in1969,in recent years,with the development of the related theories and social documentaries,the narrative mode of documentary is becoming increasingly diverse.Documentary Narratology needs to rely on narrative language to organize into a whole,telling the story in a certain way,so that the documentary eventually become a complete and coherent event.In this paper,through analyzing the author's graduation work "temporary steward",discuss use a series of narrative strategies such as lens,suspense or conflict,music etc,to explore the use of narrative approach in documentary.Documentary take the perspective of "temporary steward" to record the worker's true condition of Spring Festival,to show the vast of Spring Festival and the railway worker's spirit of selfless dedication,and the academic thinking as well.
