The Analysis Of Temporary Quantifier Borrowed From Monosyllabic Nouns Of "the Modern Chinese Dictionary"

Temporary quantifiers are a very important sequence category of modern Chinese. In the past, the research mainly involve in the compartmentalization of the part of the speech, the assortment of the quantifiers, as well as the standard of the classification of the quantifiers. However, the monographic study of temporary quantifiers borrowed from noun is rarely. Hence, this thesis is seeking for the interact relation between the quantifiers and the match elements on the basics of clear the category of quantifiers, the compartmentalization of the quantifiers, as well as the standard of the classification of the quantifiers. There are three pars in the thesis: the temporary noun quantifiers borrowed from nouns, temporary verb quantifiers borrowed from nouns, as well as the temporary quantifier morphemes. In the chapter of temporary quantifiers borrowed from nouns, the numeral matching with the temporary-quantifiers are the longitudes, the nouns and the adjectives are the parallels. There are 11 structures in the chapters. The chapter of temporary-verb-quantifiers researches the features of temporary-verb borrowed from nouns. This chapter includes two parts, the first is that the temporary-quantifiers have the same meaning as the verb. That means when a verbal could be both a verb and a noun, what is more, their meaning have some interrelations, we could look nouns as the temporary-verb-quantifiers. The verb before it could be the verbal which are the verbs. The second is that the temporary-quantifiers have the different meaning as the verb. However, when we omit the numeral, the verb and the noun could constitute a new verbal. The meaning it express could be same to the numeral phrase, however, it could express the meaning different from the numeral phrase. The chapter of temporary quantifier morphemes includes two parts: one is temporary noun quantifier morphemes, and the other is temporary-verb-quantifier-morphemes. There are two parts, one is the bound term consisted of temporary quantifier morphemes and noun morphemes, however, in the numeral phrases, the noun morphemes are nouns. Another is the bound term consisted of temporary quantifier morphemes and noun morphemes, however, in the numeral phrases, the noun morphemes is not a noun, it should consist with another morpheme to be a noun. The chapter of temporary verb quantifier morphemes includes two parts, one is the discussion of instrumental quantifier, another is the discussion of cluth-verbs.
