Exploration On The Value Of Folklore Writing In The Novels Of Beijing School

There exists symbolic relation between folk and literature.Without literature,folk cannot be inherited and preserved well;without folk,literary background and material will be lack of deep cultural heritage.The novels of Beijing school mix the folk elements skillfully in the process of literary creation,which shows the unique feature.The folkloric culture and work with full regional features and strong style are written by Fei Ming,Shen Congwen,Xiao Qian,Wang Zengqi and other writers,which become important channels to express regional characteristics,literary ideals and literary value.Writing in folklore,the writers of Beijing school completed the unique cultural speech of the novels of Beijing school and made them an unique and important school in the history of Chinese literature.The previous study of the novels of Beijing school focused on the creation of literary style and literary thought from the perspective of literary history,or analyzed the characteristics of their works and literary thoughts starting with a single specific writer.This dissertation is inventive.It explores the writing of the novels of Beijing school deeply and meticulous from the perspective of folklore.The dissertation is divided into four chapters: The first chapter elaborates the reason and era background of folklore created by the writers of Beijing school and discusses from three aspects specifically: the folk culture context,the external cultural environment and their own cultural psychological construction.In the second chapter,the author probes into the folk characteristics in the novels of the Beijing factions,and digs out the inner folk factors through the distinctive perspectives of Fei Ming,Shen Congwen and Wang Zengqi about folk.The third chapter analyzes the intrinsic nature of the folklore writing of Beijing school.From two dimensions of time and space,the author finds out the timeliness and spatial characteristics of the folklore writing of Beijing school to examine its artistic characteristics.The whole value of the folklore writing of Beijing school was explored in the fourth chapter from three aspects: citizen viewpoints,aesthetic taste and inheritable significance,so as to give further discussion on the significance of the folklore creation in the novels of Beijing school to inherit and develop modern Chinese literature.
