A Research On The Dialect Pronouns Systems In The Taohua Town Of Zhoushan City

The present thesis concentrates on the pronouns of the dialect of Taohua town,which consist s of the dialect of Zhou Shan city,so as to provide useful information and directions for the profound research of the dialect of Zhou Shan city.Based on a comprehensive survey,the type of pronouns,the function of them and their peculiarities are described and analyzed in the thesis.The first chapter introduces the research situation in Chinese dialects study and expounds on the research purposes,meaning,object,methods,humanity cultural and geographical environment of Taohua Town of Zhoushan City,together with the phonology of dialect pronouns systems.The second,third and fourth chapters depict the personal pronouns in the dialect of Taohua Town of Zhoushan City,by describing the type,grammar function and flexible usage of personal pronouns and by being compared with Mandarin Chinese and other Wu dialect.The fifth chapter concludes main viewpoint of the paper and analyzes the development situation and inadequacy of dialects pronouns' study of Taohua Town of Zhoushan City.First,the personal pronouns in the dialect of Taohua Town are numerous,especially the interrogative pronouns which are more than 12 types.Second,the personal pronouns in the dialect of Taohua Town are organized.Such as the third person singular and plural,near reference“?”and distant reference“?”,interrogative pronouns“?”and“?”.Third,the personal pronouns in the dialect of Taohua Town are peculiar.There are two expressions for the second and third personal pronouns,“?[???¹³]”?“?[???²]”?“?¹[???¹³]”?“?²[???²]”.“?[???²]”?“?²[???²]”are for the appellations.The first personal“??”can be both singular and plural.“?”and“?”are used for the adverbial clause of manner.Few interrogative pronouns can be used as modal verbs.
