With the development of social economy,our country's higher vocational education has entered a booming new stage of history.The social and economic development of our country into a "new normal",college graduates employment pressure increasing,the situation of obtaining employment is becoming increasingly rigorous,presents a serious challenge on teaching of higher vocational colleges.The traditional exam-oriented education mode has been unable to meet the needs of the life and career development.How to make students become the passive to active in learning English class,to establish a great interest in English learning and atmosphere,the development and enhance the level of practical English application,to help and promote their professional development and growth promoting our country higher vocational students' English autonomous learning ability,is the current higher vocational college English teaching reform in our country is a major task.In this case,the introduction of PBL teaching method in college English teaching is very necessary,because it has many obvious advantages compared with traditional teaching method.In this paper,PBL(Problem-based learning)Teaching Method was applied to the teaching of English Course in higher vocational colleges to students invitational technical colleges to test its feasibility and effectiveness in experiment.The researcher studied the scheme design of the ladder-pedagogy in the teaching of aerobics,and found its advantages,hoping to provide a reference for the teaching reform of higher vocational colleges.This research mainly uses literature,questionnaire,teaching experiment and data analysis and logic analysis.The researcher has 235 students in Jiu Jiang Vocational University as subjects,to carry out a teaching experiment with 16 weeks.The results show that in the English teaching in higher vocational schools,compared with traditional teaching methods,the PBL teaching method is more advantageous to improve the students' autonomous learning ability;PBL teaching method can effectively promote student active learning the enthusiasm and make students develop independent learning ability in learning,cooperation and mutual assistance,is a kind of improve students English effective teaching mode.On this basis,the researcher proposed the implementation of the relevant Suggestions,including the PBL teaching method and traditional teaching method,focusing on the cultivation of the ability to study independently and examination,strengthening curriculum structure optimization,improve the teaching quality of teachers themselves,writing appropriate teaching material of PBL teaching method,setting up perfect teaching evaluation feedback system and provide the corresponding teaching equipment.
