“V yixia” is a structure which is frequently used in modern Chinese language,and it is the emphasis and difficulty in teaching of Chinese as the second language.This dissertation mainly studies the structure of “V yixia” by means of the combination of qualitative description and quantitative analysis on both sides of Chinese ontology and teaching application.The introduction part explicates the origins and significance of the research topic,and the review of related research about “V yixia”.The ontology part studies“V yixia” from syntactic,semantic,and pragmatic three aspects.And the teaching application part analyzes the teaching strategies of “V yixia” in TCFL by combining teaching practice.Chapter one is the syntax inspection.This part mainly focuses on the selection of verb and the word order problem.For the selection of verb,this chapter screens the verb from new HSK vocabulary outline that can enter into “V yixia1”.After quantitative analysis,this chapter summarizes four characteristics of “V yixia1”verb selection.Then,compare the modern Chinese vocabulary list with the new HSK vocabulary outline,list the verb that can enter into “V yixia2” by categories which are frequently used.For the word order problem,this chapter investigates different situation of object,and concludes the location relationship between “yixia” and the object and its corresponding changes.Chapter two is the semantic inspection.Summarize “V yixia1” in simply meaning of frequency counting,and “V yixia2” can be divided into meaning of short time,meaning of small amount,meaning of try and meaning of force-border.Chapter three is the pragmatic inspection.This part inspects four basic speech acts in instruction speech act,assertive speech act,commissive speech act,and expressive speech act.Combined with specific corpus,the illustrated example shows that,in different acts,“V yixia” can reflect different particular tone of voice to accordance with the requirements of the politeness principle.Chapter four is the teaching application part,describing from several following respects: Firstly,examine the prevailing TCFL teaching materials in Road to Success,Developing Chinese,New Practical Chinese Reader,and Integrated Chinese.There are many problems about “V yixia” in textbooks and teaching.Secondly,put forward the teaching content in syntactic,semantic and pragmatic aspects on the basis of the existing problems.Thirdly,design specific lesson plans of “V yixia1” and “V yixia2” by stages based on the teaching content presented by advice.
