Big Data And Epistemological Issues

The growth of the data has come to an amazing achievement since the Internet era,especially the rapid development of mobile Internet surprised us to the explosive growth of the data in the past two years.And more and more prove us that the era of big data has come.Big data is a new resource,making scientific communities,government,enterprises and even individuals focus on the massive data for its rich value.The arrival of every new era will bring great changes in the way of human life,people's thinking patterns and cognitive levels.And the era of big data,dealing with massive data behind the technology is actually a new way to know the world.Philosophy,the spiritual essence of the time,must have an intimate contact with the beach-goers of the time,and epistemology as a philosophy theory studying the human understanding is closely linked with the logic thinking behind the big data.This paper will study the mass data from the perspective of philosophical epistemology.This paper mainly has four parts.The first part introduction,it makes a brief summary of the research on big data both at home and abroad.The second part is about the arrival of big data age.It introduces the development of big data,and analyzes the characteristics of big data.Finally,this paper makes a simple description of the relationship between the big data and philosophy.The third part is about the big data and understanding of the methodology.The analyses of big data,mainly from three aspects,are the transcendence of relativity-causality,the contingency and inevitability in the big data prediction and the accuracy and complexity.The fourth part is the big data and epistemological issues,mainly some analysis and discussion in three aspects: the source of knowledge,the realization of knowledge and the promotion of artificial intelligence.
