Moral decision is the final stage of moral choice when an individual is in a moral situation,the individual's choice of how to do it,and the result of behavior and behavior.That is,when the individual in the moral situation has a variety of behavior patterns of choice,and these behaviors will allow the individual to produce value conflicts,the individual for these acts of moral value judgments,and make the final choice.People will adopt moral norm-oriented thinking mode and benefit maximization-oriented thinking mode when making moral decision.Guilt is one of the moral sentiments is the individual thinks that his words and deeds have caused harm to other people's body,spiritual property,or the negative emotional experience of shame,sadness and regret,which is contrary to the social moral standard,accompanied by a strong tendency of compensatory behavior.,this kind of compensation behavior tendency is advantageous to people to make the behavior which conforms to the morals standard more,enhances people's relations with each other,promotes the interpersonal relationship harmony,has the vital significance to the social order and the stability.Guilt has a certain effect on moral decisions.In addition,interpersonal relationship is one of the important basis for Chinese people to deal with all kinds of things,and it is an important factor to influence the different decision thinking mode in specific situations.Based on the influence of guilt on moral decision,this study will solve the following four problems: First,there is no uniform standard method for the inducing method of guilt emotion,how to induce to ensure that all the subjects ' guilt emotions are more standard and more conducive to the experimental control.And second,what are the effects of guilt on moral decisions.Third,does the influence of guilt on moral decision have the consistency of cross situation.Four,in different interpersonal relationships,the role of guilt in moral decision-making,whether the role of a cross-situational consistency.This study uses the moral dilemma story paradigm to classic trolley puzzle(Trolley problem)and pedestrian overpass puzzle(Footbridge problem).The situational story is the experimental material,examines the guilt emotion to the moral decision-making influence,and from the interpersonal relations angle,has probed into the guilt emotion and the interpersonal relationship to the moral decision-making function,altogether includes 4 experiments.Experiment 1 and experimental 2,we investigate the emotion-induced effect of the way of recall and task situation and investigate the influence and difference of the guilt emotion induced by two kinds of evoked ways on moral decision.Experiment 1,by recalling guilt events and task scenarios to induce the subjects' guilt to 131 students who is in school is being tried,the independent variable is guilty induced group with the guilt-inducing group,the single factor experimental design,which is the tendency of moral decision-making,investigates the influence of moral decision in the "trolley problem" situation by the guilt emotion evoked by recollection and task situation.Experiment 2 use 130 students were tried,independent variables for guilt induced group and guilt-induced group,a single factor experiment designed for the tendency of moral decision making,investigates the influence of the guilt emotion evoked by recollection and task situation on moral decision in "human bridge problem" situation.Experiment 3,the guilt of the subjects was induced by the task situation to 206 college students are being tried,independent variables for guilt-induced or not and interpersonal relationship type,because the variable is the moral decision-making tendency three factors were experimented with the design,examines the guilt emotion and the interpersonal relationship type,in "the trolley problem" situation to the moral decision-making influence;Experiment 4 use 233 college students were tested,the independent variables were induced by guilt and interpersonal relationship type,and the three factors which were the tendency of moral decision were designed to study the influence of guilt and interpersonal relationship on the moral decision in the situation of "footbridge problem".Experimental conclusion:(1)guilt will enhance the individual moral rule-oriented mode of thinking,but it will not change the direction of moral decision-making,in the "tram dilemma",guilt will reduce the choice of "flip turnout" tendency,in the "footbridge dilemma",guilt will increase the choice of "do not push" tendency.(2)Guilt and interpersonal interaction have a significant impact on moral decision-making: for loved ones,guilt can make individuals more responsive to family decisions,and for strangers,guilt makes the individual make more ethical decisions.
