In recent years,IP has become a hot word in the film and television industry.Investors and film and television companies have explored many fields around IP,including film adaptation,TV series shooting,and peripheral products research and development."IP" is the earliest for the audience familiar with the concept of "Internet Protocol",namely the network interconnection agreement between,but this paper studies the "IP" isn’t this meaning,but means "Intellectual Property",as "intellectual property",referring to literature,film and television play,animation,games,such as material of copyright,the copyright most fans have certain basis,and is known to the audience,mainly including: trademark rights,Copyrights,patents,etc.The year 2015 is called the "year of the first year" of Chinese IP film,which has occupied half of the Chinese film and television drama market and achieved a surprising box office.The main sources of IP movies and TV dramas are: online literature,games,variety shows,etc.,and relatively successful IP TV dramas,such as You are my sunshine,Legend of the legendary swordsmen,etc.In addition,there are also IP movies and TV dramas based on audio books,folklore and other resources.This paper firstly based on IP content definition,the types of IP content adaptation list typical case analysis,IP TV dramas,which leads to the IP content of existing problems,analyze the problems,and put forward development countermeasure.By analyzing the background,significance and research status at home and abroad,this paper explores and summarizes the existing problems of IP TV dramas.Through the definition of IP concept,it is clear that the "IP" quoted in this paper means "intellectual property rights",and then the characteristics of film and television plays in the IP era are discussed,laying a foundation for the subsequent research.By enumerating and analyzing IP sources,what is IP TV drama?What resources can be adapted into IP TV series?
