The Study Of Leiss' Technological Ethics

With the arrival of the industrial revolution,the western industrial countries use technology to develop the economy at the same time also caused the contradiction between human and nature,and between human beings,in the meantime,the environment problems have become endemic to people's life.At this moment humans began to realize the seriousness of the ecological crisis,the study of the root causes of ecological crisis is becoming more and more active,the Ecological Marxism was born in this context.As a representative figure of Ecological Marxism,Leiss deeply analyzes the root that causes ecological crisis,he opposed to the conventional wisdom that the roots of the ecological crisis,and Points out that technology itself is not the cause of environmental problems,he further states that the ideology of "control of nature" by means of technology is the root of ecological crisis,at the same time,he realized that the essence of "control of nature" is control of people and control of society.The article teases out the technical ethics thoughts from Lessis's ecological thinking,and expounds the background and main content of Lessis's ethics of technology,in comparison with the technology ethics of Marx,the author analyzes the positive significance of Lessis's technical ethics in building a harmonious society in our country.The thesis contains five parts:The first part is the introduction.This part has four aspects.Introduction part introduces the purpose and significance of the topics,the research situation both at home and abroad,the research methods and ideas of this paper and the innovation of this paper.In the second part,this paper mainly talks about the background and the origins of theory of Lessis's technical ethics,including Marx's theory of alienation of technology and the theory of technology criticism of Frankfurt School.The third part mainly discuss the main content of the Lessis's technology ethics.First of all,presents the origin of problem of technical ethics from the historical evolution of the concept of "control of nature";Secondly,discusses the ethical critique of technology capitalization from the technology of capitalization in the control of natural,human beings and society;Finally,discusses Lessis's reconstruction of technical ethics.In the fourth part,we discuss the similarities and differences between Lessis's and Marx's technical ethics,and expounds the progress and limitation of Lessis's thought.The fifth part introduces the theoretical contribution and contemporary revelation of Lessis's technological ethics.It is pointed out that Lessis's theory of ethics has both the inheritance of Marx's alienation theory of labor and the enlightenment of Agger's ecological thought,at the same time,I link the path to solve the problem of technical ethics with the ethical problems faced by China's current technology development,and point out its reference significance to the construction of "beautiful China".
