The Present Situation Of Chinese Language Teaching In Confucius Institute At Chulalongkorn University Research

At present,the development of the Confucius Institute in all over the world and also in Thailand spread the Chinese language and culture.The number of people learning Chinese in Thailand have risen year after year.Confucius Institute make cooperate with many local University in country.Thailand has a lot of Confucius Institute at university.Confucius Institute at Chulalongkorn University is a representatives of the Confucius Institute in Thailand.As an international student of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language field has concerned about the development of Chinese language education in Thailand.This research selects Confucius Institute at Chulalongkorn University as the research object.The aimed of this research is for investigate Chinese teaching of Confucius Institute at Chulalongkorn University.The research uses questionnaire survey to research and collect information about students and instructors in Confucius Institute at Chulalongkorn University.To analyzed curriculum,instructors,teaching materials and present education.The research shown that there are many unreasonable education which;Chinese curriculum,lack of instructors,instructors team is not stable,teaching material not up-to-date,lack of practicability,old teaching methods,and students lake of enthusiasm,so there all the basic solution and countermeasure in this research.Finally,to promote the development of Chinese language in Thailand,and also to provide reference for other Chinese scholars.Hope Confucius Institute at Chulalongkorn University research could be an advantage for Chinese teaching in Thailand.
