Study On Zhu Guangqian's Aesthetic Thought In The New Period

Zhu Guangqian is an expert in the history of Chinsese modern western aesthetics.He has devoted himself to the study of aesthetics for more than sixty years.All of his life,he was busy with writing.Thus he has made great achievements to the spread of western aesthetics in China and to the development of Chinese modern aesthetics.For a long time,the study on Zhu Guangqian's aesthetic thought has been an important subject in the field of aesthestics.At present,his aesthetic ideology is divided into two stages.The first period is before 1949 and the second one is after 1949.This paper intends to divide the second period in detail.From 1949 to 1977 is the middle period and from 1977 to 1986 is the later period,that is the New Period.This paper analyses Zhu Guangqian's aesthetic activities from a new perspective,discusses the main problems that he has paid attention to and then tells the reason why it is formed.In this paper,the author studies the three key problems on aesthetics during the New Period of Zhu Guangqian.In Chapeter one,it introduces his controversy about aesthetics,classical translation,the spread of aesthetics and his other activities.In Chapter two,it discusses three key problems.The first one is the relationship between Literature and Polictics.It introduces the original viewpoints about Literature and Politics and then analyses how the peole intrepret aesthetics and how Zhu Guangqian does from the viewpoint of politics.The second one is the relationship between the theory of human nature and common beauty.It introduces the original views about the theory of human nature and common beauty,which the people approve.However,the people have their own thoughts and Zhu Guangqian also has his new ideas.The third one is the relationship between aesthetics and practice.It introduces the original ideas about aesthetics,practice and the new viewpoints of other people.It focuses on the analysis of Zhu Guangqian's practical aesthetics.In Chapter three,it analyses the social and personal reason for the development of his aesthetics in new period.The paper intends to find the main charateristics and the reason for Zhu Guangqian's aesthetic thought in the new period from his aesthetic activities.Then it will reveal the unique value for Zhu Guangqian's aesthetic thought and his stick to aesthetic ideal.
