A Comparative Study On Zhuangzi's And Guoxiang Views Of Life

This study is aim to figure out the different views between the life philosophy of Zhuangzi and Guoxiang,especially the views of destiny;the views of values;the views of on leveling things;the attitudes toward to the life and death;the views of peripateticism.We can study them in the view of philosophy of Marxist about freedom.To the views of destiny,Zhuangzi believes that destiny is base on the ‘Tao' that comes from ‘Taoism'.He sure that ‘Tao',which is unknowable,gives destiny to everything and no one can against with its own destiny.So he promotes that people should adjusts to their own destinies.Guoxiang's option of destiny is that,destiny is irresistible and up to its own nature,the different nature of all things which was the reason of the different fates.If people wanted to be happy they have to adjust to their own nature.To the views of value,Zhuangzi against Confucian benevolence,he believes that benevolence is the production of the decline,is not consistent with the humanity.Righteousness of the social will ruins the minds of the people.He is opposed to the implementation of benevolence and righteousness.He hopes that people should forget the benevolence and justice,only in this way can restore the stability of society,and integrated with the Tao.Guoxiang agree that righteousness is gifted,is in the nature of things;people practice is only fairness and justice as fairness is proposed but all the religions,righteousness and other social moral principles in the society,are in line with the human nature.But he was against the hypocrisy of righteousness,he opposed under the guise of righteousness to everyone,because he thinks the social status is "divided" decided,following his or her rebellion is inconsistent,is a violation of "nature".To the views of On Leveling All Things,Zhuangzi believes that whole things in the world are on the same level.Because all things come form ‘Tao'.In the non issue,Zhuangzi believes that the reason why people are struggling with the other people is derived from "mean",however,the limit of things are also uncertain,so he thinks that people shouldn't talking about what is right or wrong,shouldn't judging everything.Zhuangzi thinks that people should get rid of talking about the right or wrong,success or failure,likes and dislikes,value judgment and comments,so as not to do any thing to judge and they can forget the thing "mean" to judge everything with the speech,forget the speech.Guoxiang acknowledged that all things are different from what they look,as long as they are full enough on their level,everything will be on the equal level.In addition,people don't understanding the different between the judgments,different points of these people cannot understand about another's position,so he believes that both sides in the dispute are in their own options of non evaluation,can be regarded as homogeneous.People could talk about right or wrong in their own nature.To the views of life and death,Zhuangzi believes that it is the most difficult thing that people can't get rid of.He keeps the attitude of life and death is that,on leveling all things especially the life and death.People have to realize that they need to adapt to changes in the life and death,stop talking about losing their own lives so they can leave life and death out of consideration.Guoxiang also believes that life and death of everyone is destined,so people need to adapt to life and death.Every moment is not necessarily related with the next moment,life is so short;people should be fully satisfied with every moment.To the views of free,Zhuangzi thought that the normal people wouldn't free in the spirit area,they would not virtue and happy,even if the incredible people who named Song Rongzi is also not free enough because of the wind.Forget the secular,to abandon its own inner emptiness as God,people can realize and blend,peripateticism,and that the world can be free.As long as the world in their sexual distinction within the foot,can be free and unfettered.The brilliants wouldn't be stay in the mountains;their wills will be also free in the social area.
