Beethoven is one of the great pianists of Germany. His composition "Piano Sonata"occupies a unique position in both the history of piano art and the history of musical creation.Whether in respect of the development of sonata forms,or in terms of the musical style, exquisite composition techniques and innovative composing concepts highlighted in the composer's creation process,Beethoven Piano Sonata is a classic example for those who study music.Taking the movement with the introduction in Beethoven Piano Sonata as the research subject, the study applied tonality analysis method and post-tonal theory,to explore the structural force of introduction and introduction material in works on the overall musical composition. The final goal is tend to achieve a deep understanding of Beethoven's composing techniques, creation concept and spiritual connotations. The study is divided into three chapters:In the first chapter, introduction material as an initial condition was constantly organized, expanded, extended and developed through mapping with the cadence and non-cadence approaches. Thus the structure of the entire composition was contained, which indicated the structural force of introduction material on the overall musical development. In the second chapter, based on the argument of adhesion between introduction material(implicit)and introduction(explicit),the variation and dissemination of introduction material and the insertion of introduction in musical works were revealed. The relationship between introduction and introduction material and other parts of musical pieces was highlighted, which ultimately indicated the structural adhesion of introduction and introduction material in musical compositions. The last chapter uncovered the multiple structural counterpoint in musical works based on the discussion of introduction insertion in the previous chapter.Analysis showed that the structure of musical works can generate various deconstructive results from different perspectives.Afterwards a study was conducted on the introduction and harmony in the theme of the major movement to illustrate that introduction can elevate the major movement's theme and even the auditory structure of the whole composition.
