As a talented woman and female calligrapher,Zhang Chonghe is relatively rare in the history of Chinese calligraphy.She can draw and rhyme,possess a clear knowledge of a musical pitch,and is-good at Kunqu opera,having a very comprehensive self-cultivation in the traditional Chinese culture and art,and these art and accomplishment are all integrated into her calligraphy creation,constitute a unique calligraphy including calligraphy mood,Connotation,knot body style and style implication.This paper intends to explore and analyse the life situation,artistic pursuit,aesthetic characteristics and significance of Zhang Chonghe,showing the image of a female calligrapher who has unique charm and persistent pursuit relative systematicly and completely.Her success has set an example for modern women,and has played a positive role in the development of female calligraphy field,providing guidance,being worth thinking and learning.
