It has been 8 years since medical reform was carried out in 2009.Some remarkable achievements have been made, while there are still some fundamental problems such as expensive medical bills and difficult access to quality medical services. Now the reform is in the critical stage and the challenge is how to go through it smoothly, namely, how to improve the value of medical services and how to reach the goal of “building a healthy China”.Medical workers are playing major roles, whose participation is essential to the success of the reform. In fact, they are supposed to implement the goal and tasks designed by the government and apply it in maintaining the public's well-being.Therefore medical workers serve as backbone in the smooth transaction of reform. It is well known that it seems impossible for the medical worker to meet the requirement of the reform by merely relying on their own moral consciousness or their occasional moral impulse.Medical workers with sublime moral personality and innovative mind will be able to control their personal emotions properly and adjust their behavior correspondingly while they are handling moral conflicts in their practice. In this way, they are being responsible for both themselves and their patients. Also,it means they are working on their social mission. Thus stressing medical workers' moral personality development is significant to the medical reform in china because it can ease their intense relationship with patients.First, the thesis theme is put forward after briefing the research status home and abroad, that is to explore systematically how medical workers should adapt to a new round of deepening medical reform which is closely related to the moral personality of medical staff.Second,an analysis is made concerning the characteristics of medical reform development and the requirement it imposed on medical workers' moral personality by defining the two concepts, one being new medical reform, the other moral personality. Then,it is pointed out that some problems are found to be common among medical practitioners, such as misplacement of moral values, deficiency of moral emotion, weakening responsibility sense and medical misconduct, etc. And the causes are analyzed from three perspectives: the new medical reform, the educational mode in school and the practicing environment. Finally,a further exploration is made about the condition and the way to help medical workers develop healthy moral personality based on analyzing the above-mentioned problems and their influence on medical workers and the society. Thus,a conclusion is drawn that medical workers can build their moral personality through moral education and cultivation.Hopefully it can provide some feasible suggestions on how to achieve the goal of “ healthy China” and how to build harmonious relationship between patients and medical workers.
