A Research On The Collection Of Historical Materials Of Re Ryukyu In Chinese Historical Books

Ryukyu(??),an ancient state name,was recorded in literature with different writing forms in different times.The main of them are“??”?“??”?“??”?“??”?“??”?“??”,etc.The relationship between China and Ryukyu is profound and well established."Ryukyu Biography of Sui Biography" and "Chenleng Biography of Sui Biography" are the earliest historical materials that records Ryukyu and still existing in the world now.Although among the academia there is no certain agreement of the opinion about where the place of the Ryukyu recorded in "Ryukyu Biography of Sui Biography"and "Chenleng Biography of Sui Biography" is,the Ryukyu state which established tributary relationship with China in the fifth year of Hongwu Ming Dynasty(1372)is the present Chongsheng Island(Okinawa)and the adjacent sea fields indeed.During Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty,463 years of friendly relation between China and Ryukyu,Ryukyu's Kings ere conferred by Chinese government for 25 times,and was sent 45 conferring ambassadors and vice ambassadors,among them 17 times and 29 ambassadors were in Ming Dynasty and 8 times and 16 ambassadors,Qing Dynasty,which can be referred to literature.Various about Ryukyu historical materials were preserved in the Leishu(??)of the past dynasties.Some rare materials in the Leishu of the past dynasties are of important historical value for the further research of the historical relation between China and Ryukyu,however,few people paid attention to these materials among the academia.This thesis is based on the current situation of the research of the relation between China and Ryukyu among academia,and it researches the Ryukyu historical materials of the Leishu of the past dynasties with an overall historic outlookChapter one defines the Ryukyu historical materials and the denotation and connotation of the Ryukyu historical materials in the Leishu.Chapter two is the research of the materials about Ryukyu in the Leishu before Ming Dynasty.Chapter three is the research of the materials about Ryukyu in the Leishu in Ming Dynasty.Chapter four is the research of the materials about Ryukyu in the Leishu in Qing Dynasty.The last part is conclusion.
