The Historical Cultural Complex Of Ryukyu And Fujian

Ryukyu(Okinawa today) has been resumed official contacts with China mainland since China established formal diplomatic relations with Japan in 1972.And they establishes the friendly relations cities between Okinawa and Fujian. The relationship is inevitable result of on the basis of 500 years vassal relations between China and Ryukyu which produced special feeling. In this paper,the main line is the relationship between Fujian and Ryukyu historic relics,researching the interaction of Ryukyu official or private in Fujian nearly 40 years,from the perspective of anthropology to explore ways of Okinawan to seek self conscious,including playback history and ancestor worship,so as to achieve the target of cultural identity and self-identity.China-Ryukyu ties represent the historical complex that both of us identify each other as we share a lot in history.This complex goes down now with the mutual benefit and win win progress in trade,education and culture during the old days.Therefore,many of our cities twinned and some people tried seeking their origin and cultural exchanges boost.Researching the issue of Ryukyu identity is not only to restore the true history,a profound understanding of the historical origins between China and Ryukyu exchanges, maintain the friendly relations between China, Japan and Okinawa in the context of global ization,promote political, economic and cultural exchanges,but also reflected the special feeling between China and Ryukyu.
