Wu Dacheng's Seal Script Staging,Classification And Artistic Features

Wu Dacheng is an influential collector in Qing Dynasty,a calligraphy scholar of metal and stone,and an ancientliteral scholar.He is famous for his Seal Script.He studied Shuo Wen Jie Zi when he was young.Middle-aged learning from the same generation Deng Shiru and Mo Youzhi,etc.Wu Dacheng was later accused of chasing three generations of Zhong Ding's bronze ware by Yang Yisun,and fuse the small seal script with the large seal script.He was renowned for being the first person to write the Chinese bronze inscriptions.There is an increasing number of Seal Script Calligraphers in the Qing dynasty.Wu Dacheng was able to have a foothold in which he could not do without his profound ancient literacy and a rich collection of metal and stone.At that time,most scholars turned their attention to the study of ancient texts because of literary inquisition.Therefore,the study of textual criticism and the metal and stone inscriptions regained its popularity.This also created a good atmosphere for public scholars in the Qing Dynasty.This article is based on the previous research of Wu Dacheng's metal and stone inscriptions · It is the central theme to study Wu Dacheng's Seal Script.It also analyzes Wu's Seal Script by stages and classifications and analyzes the art features.Finally,taking the experience of my graduation creation as an example to analyze,I hope that I can take a look at the imitation and creation of the seal script.
