At present,as a cultural commodity with both artistic and commercial nature,the artistic form of the film is gradually desalinated and replaced by its more obvious commercial nature.Commercial,in the final analysis,is the box office,a good box office,which means the need for good publicity and distribution.Good publicity and distribution strategy can increase the potential audience,expand the popularity and influence of the movie,open the market of the domestic movie,and maximize the commercialization of a movie.Every commercial film maker will get a high box office as one of the criteria to measure the success of the film.In order to attract more audiences to watch the film,more and more filmmakers are aware of the importance of film publicity and distribution.Stephen Chow's love comedy "Mermaid" was released in February 8,2016.As of movie ending,its total box office has increased by more than 3 billion 392 million,defending the 2016 movie box office championship.Although the 2017 release of "wolf 2" "Mermaid" broke box office records,but can still prove that "Mermaid" at the box office and the reputation evaluation can have so high,not only because the "Mermaid" sophisticated production and script,propaganda and release team thanks to the operation of the film.The movie "Mermaid" story content,artistic characteristics,and the actors record box office success were introduced,mainly discusses the "Mermaid" innovation promotion strategy and means of issue and public opinion feedback,in order to find the existing problems in the process of promotion and issuance,and puts forward the solution,by the end of the study the movie "Mermaid" successful propaganda and release experience,draw on the same type of domestic movie propaganda and release of enlightenment.
