Robert Hughes once said:"People remember their own history, beliefs, attitudes, desires, and dreams in the images they created."The "comfort women" system,as a legacy of World War ? history, returned to people's sight at the end of the last century.Images related to "comfort women" have also been gradually produced and distributed, and have caused concern within a certain range.Considering that the collective memory of "comfort women" will soon be forgotten as the survivors'silence fades away, the author will focus on the special group of "comfort women"and study the film text "comfort women".The object is to examine how the image media rebuilds the "comfort women" collective memory in the process of presenting the images, and analyzes in depth the values and problems that exist in them,in the hope of providing reference for the later "comfort women" subject image production. There are five parts in the full text.In the first chapter of the introduction, the author combs the theoretical concepts related to this article, introduces the source of the article's topic, the purpose of research, the significance of the research, and the innovation of the thesis. Then, made a detailed literature review of the research subjects of this article with the help of HowNet,Wanfang Database, and elaborated the research methods used in this study. In the second chapter, the author uses the literature research method to sort out the historical and realistic context of the "comfort women" image memory. The indelible fact that the Japanese army invaded China was the historical context of the"comfort women" issue, which directly led to the lifelong suffering of Chinese women. In the second section of this chapter, the author starts with the gradual disappearance of survivors and the lack of national attention, and analyzes in detail the realistic context of the collective memory of "comfort women".In the third chapter, the author analyzes the film "Comfort Women" and uses the case study method to explore how the image media as a carrier presents the "comfort women" collective memory. The author analyzes in detail the current eight "comfort women" subject video works in China in terms of the theme of the film presentation, the image recognition of "comfort women",narrative perspectives, and audiovisual expressions.Summarized the common characteristics of the "comfort women" theme image in the presentation process. As a historical writing, the collective memory of "comfort women" has its significance and value for its existence and continuance. In the fourth chapter of this article, the author analyzes the value of "comfort women" video memory and concludes that "comfort women" video works not only promote the survivors' speech rights expression and individual healing, but also in the new era from national memory. At the level of the memory of the era,the "comfort woman" was reconstructed in a collective way,and it reshapes the national trauma and the national image. In the fifth chapter, the author profoundly rethinks the issues arising from the presentation of the "comfort women" image memory and discusses the crisis in the reconstruction of the collective memory of the comfort women. In the final section of this chapter, the author further considers the "comfort women" collective. The memory of the forgotten crisis is at the forefront, and how image production should be practiced under the ideology of mainstream ideology in terms of creators, content creation, and channels of communication. On the basis of the above discussion, the author of the episode clarified the historical and cultural significance of the video text of the "comfort women" theme once again, and also pointed out the deficiencies in this study.
