The world already realized the importance of the Chinese language,and the huge influence that china has on the world,so recently a lot of Jordanian students start to choose studying Chinese language as their major,studying Chinese became so popular in Jordan,even high schools started to teach Chinese,the two countries want to improve their cultural cooperation,Jordan government also planning to increase the number of Chinese graduation students,for now the quality of teaching Chinese in Jordan is not in the levels that it should be,the percentage of students who quit studying Chinese is high,the students who insist to continue studying Chinese they are from mixed-blood families,or their parents have business in china.From this point we can see that Chinese department has problem and it faces big challenges.In this thesis through inquires and researches the writer found out:the Chinese teachers in Jordan universities are facing a lot of problems,including the fact that they don't pay attention to the difference in cultures,so they lack a lot of understanding toward the students,and the fact that the teachers who are from china,their English and Arabic still didn't reach the required level,in addition to that,Jordan's environment is not suitable to teach Chinese,and of course the influence of the student s mother tongue language on studying Chinese,all of that are obstacles that the students face,in this thesis the writer suggest that:Jordan must provide teacher training,also teacher must change the teaching method,Jordan must provide teaching material,using these ways there would be a noticeable improvement in the Chinese department,which will satisfied the students and will help them in their studies.
