The paper reviews the investigation and research on the present situation of Chinese teaching in TAG Confucius Institutes of Jordan.The study aimed:(1)on the significance of research;(2)examine the research topics and technologies used in the literature;(3)to identify the research content and how the problems were resolved;(4)implementing theoretical basis and research methods.The clarity of the general situation of the TAG Confucius Institute in Jordan relied upon the current status of TAG Confucius Institute Chinese teaching.The study explores data taken from teachers and students surveys and how Chinese courses are set up.The paper then investigated the design and implementation of TAG Confucius Institute questionnaire in Jordan,including the object and purpose of the survey.Additionally the text explains the design and implementation of the questionnaire.The research focused on the teaching situation of Chinese teachers and analysis of the student status quo(students,teaching,teaching materials)of TAG Confucius Institute in Jordan.Students assessments were carried out which included:(i)student background;(ii)motivation to learn Chinese;(iii)techniques engaged to learn Chinese;(iiii)students 'cognition of Chinese;(v)students' Cognition of four kinds of speech skills;(vi)students 'needs for Chinese language learning;(vii)involvement in Chinese cultural activities;(viii)students' participation in HSK exam.The review study looks at what objectives are used to learn Chinese and its effects.Teaching materials including the overview of Chinese textbooks,evaluation of Chinese textbooks are examined and then pointed out to Jordan TAG Confucius Institute in courses and teaching materials.The paper seeks to determine the fundamentals of Chinese teaching,course materials and TAG Confucius Institutes and it analyses the reasons for the problems raised in this study.It is hoped that the paper will give idealistic suggestions and opinions for TAG Confucius Institute in Jordan for Chinese teaching,its teaching resources,improved teaching and a clear and concise Chinese course set up.
