Researches On Gods And Spirits In The Images Creation Of Cartoons

In recent years,Myths and legends,as the cultural treasure in the process of human development,have a long history and provide much creative inspiration to the Chinese modern culture and art.The thesis has discussions on the origin and changes of the gods and spirits in the artistic works,finding that there are some similarities between the cartoons creation and the gods and spirits that express the features of abstraction,exaggeration and fabulosity.The changes of gods and spirits have an affinity with times and the understanding and researches on the gods and spirits are not the same at different times,which to some extent,expand space for gods and spirits creation in cartoons.The images creation is instrumental in the cartoon.The thesis has discussed basic features of the images creation in four aspects,including narratology,psychology,body shape and audiences for cartoons.With the development of the cartoon industry,cartoons show a great tendency for the diversified development.The thesis,based on the theme of gods and spirits which are loved by the public,has also discussed the methods of images creation.Regionality is one of the features of the myths and legends.Due to this feature,the images in the myths and legends have certain cultural characters and symbolic implications,which reflect abundant tales and diverse cultures.Combined with the analyses on mythological background,pop cultures and the gods and spirits in Japanese,American and Chinese myths and legends,the thesis has discussed the general rules of images creation and then find some misunderstandings about the images creation in the contemporary Chinese cartoons.First,Carrying forward traditional cultures is more than the medley of traditional elements.Second,the character of the images is not distinctive.Moreover,the traditional art and the daily life are disjointed.Based on the misunderstandings mentioned above and the excellent cases from home and abroad,we can get the methods of images creation in cartoons.The thesis has summarized the research method through traditional cultures,mythological background,historical background,pop cultures and diversified development of cartoons and we hope these can be beneficial to further researches on the gods and spirits in cartoons.
