Recently,with China's active diplomacy on the international stage,the position of Chinese is getting higher all over the world.Teaching Chinese,this subject,gives new birth to some classic teaching methods.Cooperative learning method is one of those.It was reputed as “the most important and successful teaching reform in the past decade”.Cooperative learning method is a kind of teaching strategy which is structured and systematized.Based on acquaintance among the students,they learn in a cooperative way,and reach their group's learning target.With meeting the prerequisite of everyone's learning efficiency maximum,Cooperative learning can improve the overall class academic achievement,and complete the learning mission,even promote the comprehension power,and learning efficiency of all the Chinese learners.This essay bases on Developing Chinese Elementary Comprehensive Course II which is published by Beijing Language and Culture University Press,trying to combine cooperative learning and elementary comprehensive course.Three rounds of action research are conducted on similar grade foreign students from Shenyang Borui Chinese Training Center,Shenyang City University,and International Exchange Center of Shenyang University.A posttest result comparison is made among these three,aiming at finding the positive and practical meaning.From the result of the experiment,it is easily to notice that cooperative learning in elementary comprehensive course can actually enhance the learning ability.In the class,the learning atmosphere is more positive.The effect of interaction between teacherstudent and student-student is coming out gradually.After the class,the students can supervise and help each other.Consciousness of learning Chinese has been improved.The whole condition of learning is getting better.They are more interested in Chinese Learning,and more likely to get achievability.On the other hand,during the action research,some problems and shortcomings come with the positive results.The writer attempts to list a scientific solution and countermeasure.There are five sections in the whole essay.The first section expounds the background,intent and significance.It also elucidates the framework and main idea.The second part clarifies the teaching method and research method in the first place.In chapter three,a reasonable and scientific research plan can be drawn up,through the understanding of the students and the analysis of the teaching materials.The fourth chapter is the specific implementation design of teaching.There are three rounds.The first round is the attempt and exploration.The second round is adjustment and revision.The third round is aimed at upgrading and application,making the combination of cooperative learning and primary comprehensive course in Chinese as a foreign language more closely and steadily.The fifth chapter is the concluding part.It summarizes the achievements and shortcomings of the cooperative learning method in the primary comprehensive course of Chinese as a foreign language.
