Uses Fernando Botero's Sculpt Concept To Discuss The Expression Of Language Implication Of Contemporary Oil Painting's Form

This thesis aims to have an overall analysis and summary on the sense of modeling by Fernando Botero and his works,trying to explore the concept of implication through formal implication and the way of expression in contemporary painting.Because of his various artistic experience,Botero's works have different appearances in different period.The local culture has always influenced the creation of Botero,who is Colombian in origin.In his series of Latin America,the portrayal of characters and the depict of scenes embodies typical Colombian lifestyles.And the scenes not only expresses the feel of nostalgia but also shows a kind of affinity.In some of his surrealism works,he transformed the portraits of the master piece or the family figures of the bourgeoisie in Latin America into an exaggerated mannequin,which is grotesque and comedic.It is not difficult to find the influence of European renaissance masters in Botero's works of classic reproduction and religious series.Botero has always been committed to the study of ancient masters and the understanding of the traditions of Western classicalism.He actively absorbs the master's artistic experience to express his own modeling ideals on shape,space,color and other aspects.Botero's aesthetic standard can be fully reflected through the contents of his works.This thsis is mainly divided into six chapters: Introduction explain the research purpose and significance of oil painting of formal implication and the methods to study this subject.The second chapter mainly analyzes Botero's artistic experience in a general context,and explicates Botero's artistic features from three aspects: painting's flatness,exaggeration,and dramaticness.The third chapter further summarizes Botero's modeling concept,and has an analysis and summary of his expression of affinity,humor,and borrowed ways with specific works.The fourth chapter explains the meaning of formal implication through the interrelationship that reflects the aspects of dependence,entanglement,inheritance and the aspects of abbreviated,fusion,and evolution in the contemporary implicative oil painting.On the other hand,it further the analysis of the expression of formal implication in contemporary oil painting with the analysis of the work of the painter Xin Dongwang,Gong Lilong and Yoshitomo Nara.The fifth chapter,from the evolution of form aesthetics and the evolution of spiritual orientation aspects,explains that the expression of form and implication is the results of artistic language change resulting from the change of artistic thinking,and takes two of my own works with a sense of formal implication as examples.Chapter sixth gives the conclusion of this thsis.
