The Study Of Botero's Parody In Painting Art

This paper uses semiotics and imagery methods to conduct research,including observation and literature.The purpose is to study the influence of the parody of Botero's paintings on modern and contemporary art.The article focuses on parody and puts forward three levels of questions for Botero's “Classic Reproduction” series of works:(1)Does Botero's paintings belong to “parody?”;(2)How does Botero work on classical works? Parody(that is,how to parody);(3)Botero uses parodied methods to ultimately express what(ie,parody irony what).Through the collection of literature,choosing among them the series of "Classic Reproduction" as the subject,image research as the basic means,and symbolic rhetoric as the analysis method,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)Passing on the fat of objects in Botero's works "The analysis and the evaluation of Botero by the masters of the art world have proved that Botero's "Reproduction of Classics" series employs a parody of expression;(2)Botero adopts classical works to Some of these elements were placed in their own works and borrowed from the European culture(art)that was brought in during the colonial period.At the same time,they remade the local cultural thoughts(arts)and formed different effects from other parody works.This is the uniqueness of Botero himself's "it is by no means";(3)Insofar as social turmoil and anxiety in Latin America are involved,Botero's use of parody to express and ironically content is the existence of negative in society.Social phenomena and problems,as well as the significance of Botero's use of parody to create works of art in modern and contemporary art,and the development of diversified art.
