This translation project report takes the second part of book Tools and Technology in Translation as the source text.Rafa Lombardino,the author of the book,provides invaluable suggestions in regards of career choices,professional norms that translator and interpreter should observe and the ways to deal with the relations with the clients,etc.She learned those lessons from both her own and colleagues’ experience.Section 2 You Must Really Mind Your Own Business is divided into five parts,namely they are: business skills,legal paperwork,financial issues,negotiation skills and project management.Each part is presented with detailed analysis and pertinent advance.So to speak,this book,especially the second part,performs with the significance of guideline both for those beginners who are going to enter into translation and interpretation industry,and for veterans who are planning for further promotion.This report is composed of four parts.The first part is the introduction of this project.The second part is a brief on the source text including the author and the source text analysis.The third part includes theoretical basis,translation difficulties and solutions.And the fourth part is a conclusion.Since the ST is informative,the translation practice of Tools and Technology in Translation provides detailed explanatory for the translation ethics with examples,verifying the effectiveness and guidance of the translation ethical models proposed by Chesterman and hoping to share some gains from practice with translators or researchers with similar academic interest.
