| Camille Saint-Sa?ns is a famous French composer,organist and pianist.In the context of the development and imbalance of French vocal and instrumental music during the Romantic period of the 19 th century,Saint-Sa?ns persists in the creation of instrumental music,which has played a vital role in promoting the revival of French national music.This,however,is believed as one of the most important representative of the French national music.The instrumental works of Saint-Sa?ns’ creations are of various genres,with a total of more than 170 works.Among his five piano concertos,"Piano Concerto No.2 in g minor" is the most well-known.This work not only maintains the rigorous and romantic atmosphere of classicalism,but has several notable characteristics including beautiful melody,gorgeous colors,rich orchestration,and clear content which can be considered as a representative work of his writing style.This research will focus on the second movement of "Piano Concerto No.2 in g minor".The author will present a detailed analysis of the structure of the song,the harmony of tone,and the characteristics of the band to provide a deep-understanding of the characteristics of his writing style.Combined with the author’s own experience,the thesis will analyze the aspects of speed,strength,key-touching,pedals,and other playing techniques to provide scholars with comprehensive reference materials which will eventually help readers to achieve a deeper understanding of unity of music connotation and higher skills of performance techniques. |
