| Mi Zhi Suona is a representative of the large Suona music in northern Shaanxi,it accompanies people’s life in northern Shaanxi,whether weddings and funerals or festival sacrifices are accompanied by the Suona,which is one of the music genre associated with the habits and customs and daily life of people of northern Shaanxi.The research object of this thesis is the Changjiaban,which is a private music class based on the Suona and located in the Changshipan village,Yindou town,Mizhi county,northern Shaanxi.As the representative of the Mizhi Suona,Chngjiaban has a long history of 15 generations.Suona of Changjiaban has full style of the loess plateau,its rich repertoire,superb skill in playing and unique artistic features make Suona music of Changjiaban unique among big Suona in northern Shanxi,and become one of the examples of China’s various types of Guchui music.Based on a large number of field investigation data,this paper is based on the methodology of ethnomusicology,and probes into the relationship between Suona of Changjiaban and its dependent geographical culture environment.Through more in-depth interviews,participation and observation of heritage of Suona art of Changjiaban,this paper combs and illustrates and traces the history of Changjiaban from the transmission spectrum,transmission characteristics and survival status,observes the development of Changjiaban’s Suona.In the hundreds of years of history,in order to adapt to the demand of the new environment,Changjiaban relatively retains the original music form and pattern specification in a complete manner both in terms of rhythm,tone,arpeggiation,musical instrument and so on,or operations and inheritance of the class itself,but also makes adjustments according to the change of society.Changjiaban is a class private club which serves for the folk custom activities.This paper records and analyzes the Suona music in different ceremonies and fields,and conducts investigation and research based on the background of custom culture,tries to deeply grasp the behavior and existing way of Changjiaban in people’s daily life in northern Shaanxi. |
