Analysis On Constituent System And Value Assessment Of Guarding Post In Ming And Qing Dynasties In Cultural Route

At present,Cultural Routes,as a new type of cultural heritage,is widely concerned by scholars at home and abroad.Heritage has been payed increasing attention in our country.At the same time,our country has begun to study some of the linear heritage through the view of cultural lines.The research on the large-scale linear heritage through the theory of cultural routes is in accordance with the national conditions of China which has a large number of potential linear heritage resources.Ming and Qing dynasties guarding post settlements strode across most of the coastal provinces.As the main component of the defense system,guarding post not only played important roles in the defense against the enemy,but also promote the integration of various cultures.Its influence and the value of historical and cultural are deep and profound.At the same time,it has derived many cultural heritages in its development and evolution.So it can be called a living Cultural Route with tangible legacy and intangible heritage.This study focuses on the formation system and value assessment of the coastal guarding post settlements in Ming and Qing dynasties which is considered to be the cultural routes.And it is discussed from the multi-disciplinary level.First of all,the paper interprets the basic theory of cultural routes,and lay the theoretical foundation for the research.Then from two parts which conclude the defense theory evolution and defensive hierarchy distribution of Ming and Qing Dynasties to explore its inherent association with guarding post settlements.Thirdly,the paper elaborates on the cultural values and system construction of the coastal guarding post settlements in Ming and Qing Dynasties under the Cultural Routes,to display the connotation and significance of the Cultural Routes heritage.And then continue to corroborate the line of the Ming and Qing Coastal guarding post is a Cultural Route which carries military,political,culture,traffic and other meanings.Studying it as a cultural route will be useful for improving the level of heritage protection in our country,it can also be helpful in revitalization of large linear heritage resources.
