Since the day of its birth,ethnographic films have inevitably been linked to the textual ethnography exhibited by the traditional methods of anthropology;following the ethnographic film,the independent development of the film and television anthropology discipline with the academic pursuit of writing culture has been presented.The image writing culture gradually emerged.The author tries to take the case as a starting point,presenting an overview of the image records of the ethnographic film “Go Home” on the one hand,and using this as a starting point,using self-reflection as practical logic to develop the whole process of “home” in recording,playing and sharing.The analysis.Starting with the different identities of recorders,participants,observers,and thinkers,we try to tease out the production content of knowledge and the more important manifestations of the knowledge reproduction process formed by the identity awareness and interaction between the other and the self.Nowadays,with the development of academic disciplines and the shift of theoretical paradigms,text ethnography and image ethnography still differ in methodology and science.As Professor Bao Jiang said in his article,ethnographic films try to face the field and compete for specificity.Undoubtedly,the writer of the image ethnography shows a different method from the written text in the process of “writing culture”.The author will explore his particularity from the perspective of ethnographic films.He will use field theory as an analytical tool to analyze and present the content of knowledge production.He will also reflect on the problems existing in the case analysis of practical logic,and then try to In practice,it solves the problems and thus fills the level of knowledge production in the field.Normally,the original field of cultural records presents a culture during the recording process,while in ethnographic films,the “deep description” of culture is further realized in the practice of sharing exhibitions,which objectively exposes the orderliness contained in ethnic culture.community.Then,through the sharing of knowledge and experiences of different subjects,the subjectively presents the knowledge interaction between the other and the self.That is,taking the ethnographic film “Go Home” as the path and the different fields involved in the “going home” as the latitude,the author wants to discuss the knowledge that “Home” condenses in the collision of subjects in different fields.The purport,as well as the interaction between the other and the self in this context,are involved in the production of knowledge.In the process of combing and gradually clearing,the spiritual world of the other's culture will gradually be restored,and at the same time,the ethnographic film will be able to acquire the image as the mediator,which largely realizes the interaction between different subject objects.By this time,the author hopes that this practice will present a number of possibilities for ethnographic films in addition to being a tool for recording images of anthropological fieldwork.
