The Characteristics And Application Of The Tenor Horn Family

The tenor horn is a member of the orchestra's "Brass Family".It has a soft tone.It is mostly used in the work of the wind ensemble.It is not generally used as a musical instrument in the symphony orchestra.Due to the useless in the orchestra,Many musicologists and fans are not familiar with this instrument when western classical music has become more and more popular in China.This article uses Mahler's "Seventh Symphony" as an example to discuss the characteristics of the application of the tenor horn in this work,in order to strengthen the recognition of this instrument.
