Confucian ideal personality tries to reflect the ultimate meaning implied by people in the daily existence. The most concern of the Confucianists is how to realize the ideal personality by means of critical introspection to know the human nature inherent in the nature. The yearning for the ideal personality is to open the real power of the person that is "self-transformation" of the original power.Mencius' "self-transformation" provides the basis of the theory of human nature. The concept of "honesty" is the unity of "sex" and "life",from the ontology to "Heaven and Man " to achieve a metaphysical basis. The picture of "self-transformation" is a gradual process of capturing or spiritual acquisition, through the transformation of self, gradually beyond the self, family, community,to seek self-structure and the unity of the universe, and through the tribute of heaven and earth Way,and ultimately to "and heaven and earth as a whole" environment."Self-transformation" is the ultimate concern of Confucianism, the individual through the community and transcendent to establish a sincere dialogue between the communication, which has a profound ethical religious meaning. In the pursuit of human transcendence, unlike the "external transcendence" adopted by Western Christianity,"self-transformation" is not far away from human nature, but maximizes human nature, which is an "inner transcendence" approach The "Self-transformation" and the doctrine of the mean, not once reached can be once and for all,but a never-ending process.
