The Design And Research On Thematic Silk Scarf Pattern

As one of the fashion items with the strongest decoration,silk scarf is being paid close attention to by more and more people.It not only plays a part of decoration,but also is the carrier of culture,creativity and fashion.Why thematic silk scarves are favored by consumers is that they own formal beauty and practicability and that they demonstrate the thematic connotation and a cultural spirit.Under the trend that everybody highly praises the “out of the ordinary” and highlights an individual consumption,the thematic silk scarf has a considerable market prospect.So it is very important to summarize and analyze the thematic silk scarf.By combining the classic cases of silk scarves at home and abroad,this paper analyzed and summarized the artistic characteristics of silk scarf pattern and the expression of thematic content from the constructs,colors,contents and other aspects,and conducted analysis and discussion through the design practice on that basis.Through the research,it is found out that the thematic design of silk scarf is not a kind of simple element accumulation but the thematic understanding and thinking as well as the expression and generalization of its designer.It belongs to “design” in form,however,it is more than “design” in nature.Therefore,designers shall continuously make efforts to study and improve themselves in order to develop and inherit the excellent national culture.
