The time for the oboe to be introduced into China is not short, but the exploration to really start the creation of Chinese-style works began after the founding of New China. For decades, musicians in China have invested a great deal of creative enthusiasm and created a number of oboe works with distinctive national and regional characteristics.Among them, the regional styles of Zhao Jiping's Three Sketches of Southern Shaanxi and Xu Lin's Moon Palace are the most prominent.Addition that, the author takes the three sketches of Southern Shaanxi and Moon Palace as the research objects, and according to the composition background of the music,it focuses on the analysis of the style characteristics of the two works in the north and the south areas.Based on the composer's creative intentions and the style characteristics of the music, the author will make the second creation. Finally, the author combines two works to rethink the issues of how oboe manifests regional style and how to use Chinese musical instruments for reference.
