The Study On The Phonetic Difference Between The Two Generations Of Old And Young People In Bo Ai County Dialect

Bo Ai county is located in the north of Henan province with convenient traffic.With the development of society,the voice of the local language have appeared differences in old people.The differences in phonetics between their dialects are: some labio-dental fricatives in old accents words have changed into dental fricatives in young accents;some labiodental fricatives and velar fricatives in old accents words have disappared in young accents;some palatal fricatives in old accents words have changed into alveolar fricatives in young accents;some alveolar fricatives in old accents words have changed into retroflex fricatives in young accents;some voiced labial-palatal approximants in old accents words have changed into back-close-rounded vowels in young accents;some nasal vowels in old accents words have changed into non nasal vowels in young accents;some closed mouth vowels in old accents words have changed into opened mouth vowels in young accents;some front-close-rounded vowels in old accents words have changed into back-close-rounded vowels in young accents;some front-close-unrounded vowels in old accents words have changed into nasal vowels in young accents;some tone pitchs in old accents words are 3,but it have changed into 24 in young accents.The differences between old accents and young accents expressed as the new versions?frequency of use is negatively correlated with age from the point of view of social factors.We can see fifteen variables through analysis,and disappare there are three different kinds of results: voice changes have been basically finished;the voice changes are close to the end but have not been finished;voice changes are in progress.The reseasons of young accents have differenced from old accents is the internal law of the development of phonetic system and the strong influence of Putonghua.This is the internal and external reasons,and a series of differences between young accents and old aceents are produced by the combination of internal and external reasons.
