A Study Of Zen Aesthetics In Hand Made Brand Design

With the development of science,technology and commercial market,production lines are common,and then machine becomemuch more important.Under the background of mechanical products being fully of people's life,Cold mechanical duplication provides an opportunity for the warm ‘hand made'culture.As an important system of traditional aesthetics,Zen aesthetics has produced profound influence to the world of art and design.The essence of Zen aesthetics and ‘hand made' nature complements each other.At present,most of the academic research on this aspect is more apparent.This paper explores the relationship between hand made and Zen Aesthetics byanalyzing the current development of hand made and the problems of brand design,and then tries to explore the way of hand made development in essence.First of all,this paper puts forward some problems of the current market,such as lack of emotion,lack of culture,lack of creativity from the point of view of hand made brand design.Secondly,the correlation between Zen culture and hand made aestheticsis structured through the analyzing the main ideas of Zen aesthetics,and then put forward the necessity of the integration of hand made and Zen aesthetics.The modern development roadof traditional hand made culture is explored bystudying four major factors which is hand made brand concept,brand logo,brand products,brand experience and promotion.Finally,this paper summarizes the research conclusion.Hand made brand design could convey the spirit of Zen aesthetics.The design could fuse hearing,smell,touch,taste and other sensory experience,and show the brand personality bold innovation,highlighting the beauty of hand made.A designer should keep pace with the times,by fully tapping thecharm of hand culture and Zen aesthetic charm,to meet the different needs of modern people,and tryto innovate and inherit Chinese traditional culture.
