Seeking Formal Beauty In Concrete Painting-Srarting From My Graducation Project

In the concrete creation both at home and abroad,both the realistic style and the decorative style,the artists are always pursuing the beauty of form,which is reflected in the classic works of many famous painting masters.I try to pursue the formal beauty in concrete painting through graduation creation.My graduation creation in the theme is divided into two series: character series and still life series.In the process of conceptualization,I focused on the people and things around me,drawing inspiration from it.And the pursuit of formal beauty from the composition,modeling,performance techniques and color and so on.In the production of works,I mainly choose two kinds of lacquer and ceramic materials.They have unpredictable characteristics,such as the beauty of lacquer and the kiln-changing effect of ceramics,which will play an important role in presenting the beauty of form in my picture.Through the graduation process,I have benefited greatly from the whole process.Only by making full use of various techniques and methods can we continuously discover the true meaning of formal beauty.
