Modern Design Of Traditional Characters By CG Illustrations

Thanks to the development of science and technology and the prosperity of economy,ACG(ACG is the abbreviation of Animation,Comic,Game)has been developing rapidly in our country in the last ten years.In the daily life has been everywhere ACG products not only enrich people’s spiritual and cultural life,but also play an important role in the spread of culture.In foreign countries,such as the "Thor" "Blade&Soul" " SD Gundam sangokuden " such excellent ACG products to producers in bring generous benefits at the same time,also completed the cultural output of our country.In contrast,domestic,while traversing the themes of cultural products popular,but not for the traditional role in modern society in the context of character design.This makes the traditional role once came to the modern,put on the modern coat will lose the traditional role of the property.Practice has proved that in most of the ACG and its derivative works,the role is a microcosm of the works and symbols,lost a symbolic role can not achieve the transmission of information.No can be effectively integrated into the role of design in contemporary society,the situation,and even fresh can represent Chinese culture connotation,embodying the Chinese characteristics of the role,has become China’s weakness in cultural output.Therefore,this paper will analysis of the existing theory of role design combing and successful case,verify the feasibility of China’s traditional role of modern image design,operation of the traditional role of the modern design idea is proposed in this paper.Because most of ACG products are presented by the CG illustration,so this article will be completed in the form of CG illustrations in practice.
