Musical Genre And Performance Analysis For Carl Maria Von Weber "Concertion For Horm" Op.45

Carl Maria von Weber is a great composer in the romantic period of 19 th century.He produced many works.The most representative opera work of Weber is Der Freischütz,and his music have romanticism and Germanism styles that had never been seen before.This study focused on Weber only horn works-Horn Concerto,Op.45.To be specific,the study analyzed the historical and composing backgrounds,and genre of Op.45.Besides,I discussed the playing techniques for this master piece and provided some playing advices.Finally,the three records of Op.45 by Barry Tuckwell,Hermann Buamann,and Felix Dervaux were comparatively analyzed.This study can improve the horn performance and the interpretation of Op.45,and inspire music teaching methods for this master piece.
