The Space-Time Perception Of Chinese Folk Believes

In China,as the "linear time" of the Gregorian calendar and the "round of time" of the lunar calendar in parallel-the Chinese people can often obey the lunar calendar and the Gregorian calendar at the same time,and take Buddhist and ancestral worship ceremony.Individuals living under the two systems are affected in terms of the behavioral logic and the rights structure.In this paper,a civilian of L City in Northwest China as a sample,through participatory observation and interviews to observe their lives and their behavior,and combined with the ritual activities in a variety of ritual details,the author tried to understand the old system behind the modern world.Studies have shown that the view of the old calendar as a full of rituals of the calendar,itself is a very strong vitality.The view of the lunar calendar is not just a set of times,it is full of moral education and the interpretation of power,this set of implied world view will directly affect the behavior of the parties' logic.
