The Chinese value moral cultivation since ancient times.From the pre-Qin Confucianism,the moral cultivation as a form of human moral activity is closely linked with the manage their family,govern the states and bring justice and virtue to the world.The traditional family precept culture has the purpose of manage the family and educate the offspring,and is based on ethics and morality,which is an important part of the Chinese ideology culture.It embodies rich theory of moral cultivation and aims to raise the moral awareness of family members,accumulates morality quality,promotes the development of moral personality,and achieves the elevation of personality.The main contents of moral cultivation of traditional family percept include strong sense of patriotism,profound filial piety,rigorous study attitude,modest self-examination,kind on principle,innocent and loyal spiritual inheritance,and The thought of benefiting the society and improving human's well-being,which is always diligently striven after.The main methods cover focusing on the construction and nurturing of the family style,focusing on the maneuverability of the norms and the guidelines,focusing on the motivation and demonstration effect of role models,focusing on the specific methods and formal diversity of family ethics enlightenment.The moral cultivation of traditional family percept not only promoted the secularization of Confucianism,enlarge the major path to cultivating Chinese morality and enriched the treasure house of Chinese ethics at that time,but also provides an important nourishment to our moral construction and adolescent morality cultivation in China today.It also plays guiding role on the formation of view of life and value system of the citizens.
