Exploring The Use Of Mass Media To Combat Corruption And Build A Clean Government By CPC(1949-1956)

Combat corruption is an important part of the Communist Party of China (CPC) to strengthen self-construction, but also always maintain the party's advanced nature and purity necessary requirement.In the initial period of New China, CPC explored on a series of practice measures to use the mass media strengthen anti-corruption, which including utilized the newspapers, radio and other mass media to carry out anti-corruption education, the use of mass media such as journals strengthen the powers of supervision, construction and management of mass media, and improve the quality of journalists team, enhance the talented base of anti-corruption, formulate and improve the relevant regulations, and improve the management level of mass media, etc.These explorations obtained great achievements, including strengthen the awareness of the party leadership, consolidate the party's ruling position at the transitional period, initially build a team of Journalists which can bare the anti-corruption work, implement the people's right to know, to participate and to supervise, also create a good clean cultural atmosphere. In conclusion, the early exploration practice of the New China provides an important theoretical and practical guide to the improvement of the scientific level of anti-corruption of CPC.
