Corruption not only damages the image of the Party and the nation but also threaten the Party’sruling status and the national stability and security.The Communist Party of China has always attached great importance to combat corruption andbuild a clean government, especially since the16th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC). Through strengthening the construction of the Party’s working style and a clean&honestgovernment and combating corruption persistently, the CPC strengthens its efforts to combat corruption andcombating corruption and building a clean&honest government work continues to develop in depth. Inaddition, the breeding and spreading of corruption to be curbed with the continuous exploration of newways to prevent and punish corruption. As a result, remarkable achievements has been achieved, which is anew historical starting point of the construction of combating corruption and building a clean&honestgovernment and also the new stage to make it into a system. However, it should be clearly realized that thesoil and conditions for corruption spreading still exists, the anti-corruption situation is still grim, andanti-corruption task is still arduous. Thus, more firm faith and more tenacious efforts are required for theParty to strengthen construction of anti-corruption and clean&honest government, prevent and controlcorruption in scientific and effective ways, and get new victory to build a harmonious socialist society.Therefore, this thesis, combining with the current situation with the theme "Research of thecombating corruption and building a clean&honest government construction since the16th NationalCongress of Communist Party of China ", firstly analyzes the situation and characteristics of combatingcorruption and building a clean&honest government construction early this century, and then interprets thenecessity and importance of the construction of the anti-corruption and building a clean government, and isfollowed by systematic and comprehensive summary and discussion of the breakthrough and innovation ofcombating corruption and build a clean&honest government in theory, system, practice and method“since the16th National Congress of Communist of Party” to figure out the rich connotation and theevolution characteristics of corruption combating and clean government building. Finally, it analyzes theproblems and challenges the Party is confronting with now during combating corruption and building a clean&honest government and proposes some countermeasures and suggestions combining the spiritof18th CPC National Congress.
