With the development of Web2.0,social media word more and more people have been known and widely used with,interpersonal communication has entered a new era.As a major part of China's rural areas,a growing number of rural youth to start using social media.What factors have contributed to rural youth in social media popularity,diverse social media communication,transmission speed,wide range of features for rural youth interpersonal communication will be what impact is the focus of this research concern.Through multi-stage sampling to Tianmen Jingling town of Hubei Province,a multi-stage sampling method Chen Fang village,the village and the river embankment gold village three villages,use of relevant theory of three villages in the 16-44-year-old rural youth use social media usage situation,interpersonal communication and other aspects of the status quo conducted a thorough investigation.The survey questionnaires were collected 267 copies,of which 256 valid questionnaires,the recovery rate of 89%,the effective rate of 85.3%.In this paper,the research framework constructed according to "innovative" theory and the "uses and gratifications" theory,specific research ideas are as follows:while combing the literature related to this article elaborate theory,introduced this paper research methods;the second chapter,the establishment of research framework,rural youth use social media account psychological factors influence the subjective perception of social media technology----Features(PCS),the popularity of social media's subjective perception(PPS),Social media needs to subjective perception(PNS)and the impact of demographic variables,determine the impact on young people in rural areas of interpersonal communication social media using three dimensions:communication,transmission range,propagation frequency,propose hypotheses and research related issues;Chapter III of the survey data collection and analysis,concrete analysis of psychological factors,demographic factors affect the intensity of the use of social media for rural youth,focuses on the use of social media spread the impact of the four dimensions of rural youth occasion;Chapter IV,In the understanding of the impact of social media on young people in rural areas on the basis of interpersonal communication,as they effectively address the problems of interpersonal communication and countermeasures to make specific recommendations.This paper uses SPSS 17.0 software for data collection and analysis,the analysis found that:that social media easy to use,the use of social media around friends and relatives more that social media can satisfy their needs of rural youth,the use of social media greater strength;and little or no regular users compared to users,the way their interpersonal communication has been increased transmission range has been expanded propagation frequency also increased.However,it is noteworthy that,although the popularity of social media in rural areas,the traditional face to face communication is still the most popular means of communication for rural youth.
