Deng Xiaoping has made many profound expositions. The main content of his ideology of thrift include: building up the country through thrift and being thrifty in managing the households for the revolution and the construction; saving time, developing science and technology; improving the quality and effectiveness to promote sustainable and healthy economic development; advocating rational consumption; paying attention to the education of thrift; making thrift as a standard in order to further improve the management of human resources; put into effect the policy of streamlining and prevent and control corruption, etc.Under the situation of resource shortage and serious extravagance, the study of Deng Xiaoping's ideology of thrift is still of great significance. It is necessary for us to combine Deng Xiaoping's thrifty thought with Chinese current national conditions. Based on the national conditions, we should make the idea of thrift into reality and promote the sustainable and healthy economic development; form a good social mode by education of thrift and the publicity; give people proper guidance to establish a correct view of consumption; make party members and cadres set up the idea of incorruption; intensify the construction of a clean and honest government; prevent and control corruption.
