Consumer disputes as one of the most common disputes in life, with the continuous development of the economy and the advent of the Internet era, the form of disputes is also constantly diverse and complex. At present, China’s consumer disputes mainly through two ways to solve, including non litigation solutions and litigation solutions, non litigation solutions mainly in three ways which namely reconciliation, mediation, arbitration. There are justice, authority, national compulsory litigation solutions advantages, the main drawback is that the procedure is tedious, time and material costs, the burden of proof is difficult, because of consumer disputes dispute itself has a small amount, simple content, characteristics of life, which determines the litigation to solve way is not suitable to resolve consumer disputes in practice, litigation solutions, high cost and complicated procedures, so that consumers; in addition, consumers to producers and sellers, belong to the weak side, limited knowledge of the law itself, lack of awareness of rights, for fear of litigation attitude, consumption patterns from the original "on one hand, the traditional mode of delivery, change" for today’s e-commerce consumption patterns, consumer disputes with changing consumption patterns are increasingly complex. Clear the purpose of this paper, mainly to explore China’s Online Dispute Settlement Mechanism in the field of consumption is, through the online dispute solution mechanism for the development of the status quo, Online Dispute Settlement Mechanism of three kinds of solving methods, online dispute solving mechanism of network platform of application and jurisdiction and so on content, to explore, which aims at providing a more convenient and efficient way to resolve consumer disputes.
