The method to reflect on the ideas of nation is historical.For the nations,the differences of Peoples,which know as English-Speaking,Franch-Speaking and Deutsch-Speaking or other-Speaking,make themselves away from Roman Empire and Polis.The combination and separation of Empire and Church charge the history of nations and persons in the Middle ages,based upon this,in five parts,the main body of this paper will discuss the ideas of nation in the combination of Empire and Church,and what makes the nation become an individual after the Separation.The first part of this paper is preface, overview the method of research, literatures on this topic and research ideas.To review the history of the combination of Empire and Church is the second part.In this part,how the church becomes an administrative organization which means profane in Christianity and to be the model of nation organization is an important political issue which we have to think seriously.And what we cannot ignore is the relationship of the Church and the Empire.The separation of Empire and Church makes the possibility of the nation as an individual.In the third part,we will find the factors like feudalism and individualism make the Separation we have mentioned.We can also compare the Feudal system and the Church politics.In the fourth part,it is necessary to review the ideas history of nation,the writers from Stoic,Seneca,Cicero, Joachim to Thomas Aquinas meditate what is the best regime for the Polis or the Empire or the country which in ordinary means.The conclusion part is the last part of the main body of this paper,the end of Empire and Church's combination result to the nation,and the challenge of modern state have to face is also come from religion and which means rethink the clue from Polis to Empire to the nation is not a vanity thing.
